The Run up to Christmas

Although I miss summer a lot I love this time of year! For my design work it gets verrrrryyyy busy in the run up to Christmas. It’s November so I can just about get away with talking about Christmas now. Here’s a few projects I’ve been working on this month and some of my new Christmassy designs.

So many of you have already bought one of my 2022 calendars…thank you! Making the calendar is always one of my favourite yearly projects as I get to draw some truly beautiful places that I love. I collect the drawings throughout the year and put them together in a lovely wall calendar ready for the new year. There’s still plenty of time to buy one if you haven’t already. They make lovely gifts and are super practical helping keep everything organised. This years theme was The Lake District. I wonder what next years theme will be? Any suggestions welcome!

Christmas Cards

Yay! It’s nearly Christmas. This year I have two packs of Christmas cards available. Each pack contains six cards of illustrated colourful designs! I chose quirky folk art style lettering this year with bright green, red, blue and yellow designs. One pack includes 2 wintery Christmas tree landscapes, 2 merry and bright stars and 2 brown Kraft paper Christmas pattern. The other pack includes 2 nativity scenes, 2 brightly patterned bible verse and 2 brown Kraft paper lettered bible verse.

I also have a few Christmas postcard packs of a lino cut bauble and bible verse design. I hope you enjoy sending out these cards this year as much as I enjoyed designing them!

Lots of you love to gift your family and friends with personal illustrations. It is a joy to hear your ideas and work with so many of you to create something unique and special.

I’ve really enjoyed working on this new home piece; especially with the added extra of some wintery Christmas cards! What a great idea!

And this beautiful pink and blue song lyric piece to go up in a new home. How gorgeous are those words!?

I’ve also got lots of exciting Christmas commissions to share with you in December and January so keep a look out for those on my social media.
