Wedding Invites & Orders

I can't believe it's March already! It's been a busy month at ICillustrations. There are lots of weddings coming up this year so I've had plenty of exciting stationery projects to be getting on with. One of my most popular wedding stationery pieces has been the order of service booklets. In this blog I'm going to show you a few of the booklets I've worked on. But first let me chat about some of my new wedding invitation designs...

Wedding Invitation Templates

Working with couples on bespoke illustrated invitations is always a special and unique process. However I know weddings can be a bit pricey sometimes so, I have started to design a collection of pre created invitation templates. At the moment black & white, floral and mountains are amongst my themes but if you have any ideas of others you'd like to see, let me know. If you're on a tight budget but still want to send out some striking invitations this might be a slightly cheaper option for you...

How to order a template design:

1. Head over to my online shop and choose the template you like most.

2. Select how many invitations you would like (20 is the minimum)

3. Add your names and all the information you want on your designs in the boxes provided.

4. Check out and leave the rest to me. I will mock up the templates with your details and send over a copy for you to check over before printing!

(I have a little discount on in March too!)

I look forward to editing and adding to these designs for upcoming weddings!

Wedding Order of Service Booklets

Order of service booklets have been a joy to work on! I just love incorporating text, illustrations, floral elements and boarders into little booklets for your big day. Here's a few of the designs I have worked on and the different elements they included...

This glorious 16 page booklet includes song lyrics, readings, prayers and order of events beautifully printed on textured paper. A stunning colour pallet of oranges, reds and blues to work with to create a striking floral design to match the couples theme. One of the songs was chosen by the bride and groom to have an illustrated double page spread to compliment the lyrics. Hand lettering and carefully chosen fonts were used to bring the design together and carry the theme from cover to cover. The back cover included a small illustration of the couple, a beautiful final touch to finish off the design.

This printed and patterned mountain design was carried throughout this 8 page booklet. Song lyrics, readings, prayers and order of events were bordered by illustrated mountains. A beautiful blue and orange colour pallet to create a dreamy mountain scene to match the couples theme of a Lake District wedding set in the mountains. Hand lettering and modern fonts were used to compliment the illustrative elements.

Blush pinks, greens and navy themed order of service booklets. Floral embellishments and boarders illustrated throughout alongside elegant text and hand lettering. A little couple illustration from their invitations on the back cover to finish off. All printed on high quality textured paper. I absolutely loved working on this bespoke unique design.

A rose pink and navy wedding theme. Subtle continuous rose and eucalyptus line drawings on some of the page edges, with strokes of blue and pink. I really enjoyed the hand lettering elements on this booklet, so elegant and flowing working nicely with the simple easy to read font chosen for the lyrics and readings. A lovely little couple illustration and a thank you note to their guests on the back.

Thank you for having a read about some of my templated invites and order of service booklets. I'm looking forward to chatting to you about more stationery in my next blog, so keep an eye out!
