Ancient Greece

I had pleasure of going in to Lindow Primary School and joining the Year 6s on one of their Fun Fridays!

I delivered a printmaking and collage workshop based on the theme of Ancient Greece. We looked at a brilliant story written by one of my friends Alex (in progress illustrations by me) about a little detective fox who investigates the Trojan Horse! We used various print methods including roller printing, rubber stamping and lino printing to make textured patterned paper. The children then collaged the paper to make different elements of the story including the horse, fox characters, temples, buildings on fire, soldiers and pottery/artefacts.
